Our last few interiors have used fewer finishes, not fewer ideas. A restrained palette lets a carved timber edge, a woven seat or a patch of sunlight do more work.

Good restraint is specific. It gives each material a role, makes maintenance easier and leaves enough room for a client’s life to appear in the finished space.
